Congratulations to Kris Burney! Kris, a BHHS senior, is part of BHHS' College Jump Start program while enrolled at SWIC. During his first semester at SWIC, Kris successfully completed Aviation 101 (private pilot flight theory) and Aviation 122 (systems and components). Early this morning, Kris was at the Scott Air Force Base Education and Testing Center and passed the private pilot airman knowledge test. By passing this test, he can now begin flying!
Join us tonight for our Futures Night featuring our 4th and 5th grade Jr. Patriot's! They will play a short game tonight during halftime of the varsity game.

The Minutemaids are coming off a 51-31 victory over Metro east Lutheran as they enter their final week of the regular season! They will play their first game of regionals on Saturday at Brownstown at 1:00. Good luck Minutemaids!

BHHS Chemistry students recently enjoyed a "sweet" Kool-Aid and homemade ice cream lab on calculating molarity (strength of solutions) and exploring freezing point depression.

Due to injury and illness, tonight's boys basketball game vs Mulberry Grove will be varsity only and will now begin at 7:00.

Don't forget that Friday is our Alumni Night! There will be a sign up at the door so that we can recognize ALL alumni that are at the game. After the varsity game, we have 30 alumni signed up to play or cheer in the alumni game!
There will also be a special menu that night so come hungry! There will be pulled pork sandwiches, pulled pork nachos, nachos, and hot dogs as well as the best popcorn in Macoupin County!
BHHS hosted the U.S. Marines today during lunch periods. Students enjoyed testing their strength by performing pull ups. Congrats to Zoey Watkins! She did 13 pull ups and tied the current record set by an Edwardsville High School student.
Thanks to all of the players, coaches, and fans that came out last night to Futures Night! It was great to see the future Minutemaids play in Hlafka Hall!
