Congrats to the Class of 2023! Today, they made their way down the Wolf Ridge and BHHS hallways with their caps and gowns, getting several "high-5's" and hugs from several students and teachers. We look forward to the celebration and commencement ceremony on Friday, May 19th at 7pm.

Congratulations to Zoey Watkins who is the 2023 Macoupin County Champion in the Long Jump.
Congratulations to our Gateway Metro Conference Track and Field Champions. Grant Burch won the discus with a throw of 133' 4" (40.66 meters) as well as set a new conference record.. Zoey Watkins won the 300 meter low hurdles with a time of 51.42. She improved her personal record by over 2 seconds and in the process set a new school record and a new conference record. Zoey also earned a 3rd place medal in the 200 meter run. Great job to Zoey and Grant!

BHHS welcomed Joe Parmentier as the new varsity head basketball coach this evening during a student/parent meeting. Coach Parmentier is very excited to be a part of the BHHS family and cannot wait to get started!

Today, Illinois State Police Trooper Rodger Goines addressed BHHS on the dangers of drinking and driving and other distractions while driving. The overall theme was "safety" in all driving situations, but especially tomorrow while BHHS students attend prom at the Wildey Theatre in Edwardsville. All students thanked Trooper Goines with a round of applause for his message and his service.
