Today, Michael Johnson and Mathew Gibson were special guest speakers in 2nd grade. These students have been learning about ways to help their community as they have engaged in an inquiry-based unit on the new social science standards for Illinois. Gibson and Johnson have been active members of BSA since elementary school. They discussed the importance of being involved in your community and doing things to help others. We would like to thank them for teaching us how to serve others by being a part of the Boy Scouts of America.
