BHHS enjoyed its 3rd annual alumni night at James Hlafka Hall. Several alumni came out to watch our Minutemen play and to talk about stories of the past.

Come out and have some fun tonight before the storm hits! JV starts at 4:00, Varsity at 5:30, and the Alumni Game will begin around 7:00. It is not too late to sign up to play or cheer if you have not done so.

If you forgot to sign up and still want to play/cheer in the Alumni Game this Saturday, We do have some extra shirts ordered. You can still use the QR code to sign up, or you can email thaynes@bhcusd.org to see what is available. If you want to play/cheer and not purchase a shirt, the price without a shirt is $25.

For students final project in PLTW Engineering students had to design a prop lift system for a theater. It had to be able to lift 20ft and lift 5lbs ( to scale). The students went above and beyond with this project and built systems more robust than expected and, without much direction, added features that weren't required but enhanced the product's usability. Mrs. Eschbach said she wished they were building these life-size for the drama club!

Don't forget to sign up for the Alumni Basketball Game by Friday December 20th! The big game is on Saturday January 4th. If you do do not want to play or cheer in the game but you would still like to purchase a shirt, you can email thaynes@bhcusd.org to order one by tomorrow night.

The BHHS Student Council other students have been busy wrapping presents for the "Angel Tree for the Holidays" program. In total, they wrapped nearly 280 gifts! Happy Holidays!

The way to a student's heart is through....food? Students in AP Human Geography would answer with a resounding "yes!"
After asking for a food day all semester long, these students enjoyed authentic, made-from-scratch cuisine from all over the world. Some of the highlights include:
Bauersaks (Kazakhstan)
Chicken Tikka masala (India)
Spicy Curry (Japan)
Milk Chocolate (Switzerland)
Oatmeal rolls (Scotland)
Mango Lassi (India)
Shakshuka (North Africa/Middle East)
Special thanks to Mrs. Banwart for cooking all of this delicious food for us!
