Some of the members of the BHHS Class of 2024 made their way to Chicago on the Amtrak today for senior trip. They spent time getting to know the conductors, Cortez and Kathy, at dinner at Pizzeria Due, and then went to It'Sugar and for ice cream. Tomorrow's another big day!

The May Student of the Month at Bunker Hill High School is Ryenne Lahey. She is the daughter of Jessica and Timothy Kline (step-father). Ryenne comes from a huge family; she is 1 of 12. Ryenne has earned Principal’s list honors throughout her high school career. During her senior year, she participated in volleyball and was chosen for All-Conference in the Macoupin County Tournament. She also participated in softball all four years. Lastly, she currently participates in the school work program at Day Lilies Daycare. Ryenne’s future plans after high school are to attend Maryville University in Missouri and major in Early Childhood Education and minor in Business. Her fondest memory throughout high school is seeing at least one of her siblings in school with her.
