Don't forget that Friday is our Alumni Night! There will be a sign up at the door so that we can recognize ALL alumni that are at the game. After the varsity game, we have 30 alumni signed up to play or cheer in the alumni game!
There will also be a special menu that night so come hungry! There will be pulled pork sandwiches, pulled pork nachos, nachos, and hot dogs as well as the best popcorn in Macoupin County!
BHHS hosted the U.S. Marines today during lunch periods. Students enjoyed testing their strength by performing pull ups. Congrats to Zoey Watkins! She did 13 pull ups and tied the current record set by an Edwardsville High School student.

Join us tonight for Futures Night at Hlafka Hall where the 4th and 5th grade Future Minutemaids will play a brief game during halftime of the varsity game! Varsity girls will begin at 6:00 vs Mt. Olive with JV to follow.

Today, BHHS high school and 8th grade students learned about the vocational education career pathways that Midwest Technical Institute offers. Students also learned about employability skills and employer expectations for a career after high school. Thank you to Midwest Technical Institute for the presentation!
Jacob David, BHHS PLTW Engineering student, is showcasing his talents in using the school's 3D printer. Jacob has helped to produce several BH keychains and other items by using PrusaSlicer, a software used with advanced 3D printing.

We have a made the alumni shirts extra special this year by adding a tribute to Coach Hlafka on the back! (see pictures below) Odd graduation years will be getting a red shirt, even graduation years will be getting a black shirt. Even if you are not playing or cheering in the game, if you would like to order a shirt for $16, email thaynes@bhcusd.org by Friday.
Bunker Hill has a very passionate sports community! We would love to see some of our community members in the IHSA list of officials! We can't play the sports we love without these dedicated men and women!
