The September Student of the Month is Maya Henfling. She is the daughter of Brian and Alana Henfling and the older sister to Braydon and Ryker Henfling.
During the past three years of high school, Maya has participated in basketball, softball, track, tennis, scholastic bowl, student council, band, National Honor Society, FCA, and yearbook. Most of those activities are new to her after junior year, but she's stuck with basketball, softball, scholastic bowl, and band since moving to Bunker Hill in 7th grade.
Her fondest high school memories are high in number, but the best ones come from playing her favorite sports, basketball and softball. Maya's plans for her future are not set in stone at the moment, but as of now she plans to attend college in hopes of becoming an engineer.
